LIFE UPDATE: WIE DU ABENTEUER LEBST

25. April 2018

Menschen brauchen Abenteuer.

Einfach so!

One Goal! – hier geht es zum Artikel

ENGLISH

We all need adventure. During childhood, we hide behind the bushes. We whizz on tricycles or down the slopes. We devour adventure novels. We want to hear exciting stories. Adventure is a challenge and it allows us to discover the unknown. However, the adventurousness decreases with the years. We get used to what we know and stick our comfort zones. We forget how incredibly exciting it was to discover, taking little risks, investigate and enjoy while doing it, however, it is practically impossible to make any type of progress without some kind of adventure.

Adventures spice up our lives. They make life, worth living. While adventuring ourselves to new challenges, we discover new things about our inner “self”. No matter how big or how small, it might be travelling to a new country or simply challenging yourself to go up the stairs every day for a whole year. Adventures after all.

For us at mit Handkuss, adventure came in the shape of a marathon by the hand of Coca Cola. “Absolutely!” said our inner teenager as soon as the Coca Cola team approached us with the proposal. I still have no idea where that confidence came from. We were taking some pictures at the park, when all a sudden it hit us. We had to run A MARATHON. What did we get ourselves into? Luckily the whole team was committed and we knew we could do this together.

It was sunny on Sunday and there we where, ready for the “Go!” signal to set off. Nerves, exhaustion, injuries, we had it all, but all these would not stop us. We had to run a marathon. One team, one goal. And so we did – To whole article.
