Spring Vibes: Urban Attire

18. April 2018

KOLLABORATION || COLLABORATION

It is this time of the year again, where layers seem like the safest option and freezing or melting on the way home from the office are both a huge possibility. We were losing our hopes on the beautiful Spring sunlight and warm nights in Vienna, when all of a sudden, the urban thermometers started skyrocketing. Finally, we are happy, however our winter closet must adapt quickly to the situation and that’s why we have three looks ready to inspire you, to fight back the consequences of the new floral season. Action, reaction.

LOOK ONE | COMFY AND OFFICE FRIENDLY

First, I decided to go for this comfy looking (office friendly) combination that was honestly as comfy as it looked. The salmon toned trousers are just perfect for one of those spring days, where the temperatures may rise or go down in less than 5 minutes. The chosen top for the salmon hued trousers from Ulla Johnson, was a very loose white shirt from Drykorn that could work either ways, tucked in or out. We all thought the best way to finish this look was just an old classic denim jacket from Maje. The bag we chose for this style was a beautiful floral Coccinelle bag that went perfectly with the whole look and its colours.

LOOK TWO | #CASUALNOTCASUAL

The second look was a risky one, but hey, nothing ventured, nothing gained. This beautiful floral midi skirt from Alice & Olivia could only be a winner. Although I can’t really imagine myself going to the office in this whole outfit, a Spring cocktail outside the city would totally ask for such a look. The red jumper brought its elegance slightly down and gave it the casual look that we were aiming for when we first saw this floral skirt. About the shoe gear, clearly the only way to go with this #CasualNotCasual look for this season was either white trainers or these beautiful black Karl Lagerfeld espadrilles, that went perfectly with the stunning Salvatore Ferragamo black bag. The bag did not only put the cherry on the cake in this amazing look, but it is also very mom-friendly and that is always a good advantage when your after-work plan is heading down to the playground.

LOOK THREE | POWER DRESSING

Finally, we came to this look, I have to say I felt lightly resistant about it but the infatuated enthusiasm I found when I arrived with it to the office, convinced me that it had to be one of the chosen ones. Combining an incredible and very powerful Victoria Beckham pink striped suit with this Max & Co logo t-shirt (which happens to be my year of birth!) that are currently very much on trend, makes it all more laid-back. Pictures speak by itself, this look could be perfect to attend a meeting where you are about to present your new project to the world. Regarding the accessories, I styled it with some white classic trainers from Tommy Hilfiger and a superb bag from Marc Jacobs in red. The look could only be topped up with some big chunky pink glasses that matched perfectly with the mood of this look.
