Monday Journal #21

4. Februar 2019

Hello from Kitzbühel! Emilian and I made it to the mountains and guess what… Emilian is already super excited about the skiing race this Friday. As always, it is the highlight of the week when kids attend a skiing school. Anyone else spending their semester break (with a toddler) in the mountains? If so, you might want to see all my skiing with kids hacks?

In the meantime, at the office, the girls are super busy, working on some secret projects. YAY! I am very much excited to tell you more about them very, VERY SOON. Until then, here are four random questions I asked Tati:

What’s the most ridiculous fact you know?

You cannot snore and dream at the same time 😉

What’s the weirdest thing about modern life that people just accept as normal?

Kids talking to each other via WhatsApp while sitting at the same table. It’s NOT okay, parents.

We saw you got engaged – If you were given a crazy amount of money for your wedding, with the only condition that you had to spend it in the next 3 days… where and what would you do?

I would probably fly my family and friends to Seychelles and eat like mad people (after getting married of course…!)

Lastly, after many years you consider Spain your home, therefore… Vino or Sangria?

Vino tinto, gracias.

New food spot… Have you heard of Plain Kitchen Vienna already? This new restaurant in the 9th district (Berggasse 25, 1090), opened two weeks ago and promises some yummy bowls and anything that falls into the SUPER FOOD (a.k.a healthy) category.

Psssssst: I especially love that this place will directly give a percentage of their earnings to social projects!

Beauty news… The new Tokyo collection by OPI – Spring 2019 shouts out Tokyo in every single way and it reminds me so much of when Emilian and I travelled to Tokyo in 2016! Flashy colours and glitter. More than twelve different hues are your options. Also, note that some of them are limited edition!

Things we love… EQUALITY. Therefore, I am very much in love with this dad from Norway who went viral for dancing with his 4-year-old son to the Frozen soundtrack “Let it go”. In the video, you will see Ørjan Burøe who’s a comedian, wearing an Elsa dress while dancing like no one is watching. Funny thing is… now the whole world is watching.

DEUTSCH

Schon gesehen?
