Sunday Thoughts: Positive Energie ist ansteckend

15. Juli 2018

Und was soll man in solchen Momenten machen? Daher: Think positive!

 ENGLISH

Hard times come and go, it is how we decide to overcome these tough times in life that make the difference. Fighting against negativity or negative thoughts is, as well as staying positive on a daily basis, or finding our perfect balance, quite difficult but not impossible. These are both a real art.

What is a negative thought anyway? Negative thoughts are not being able to sleep thinking of a client’s feedback, thinking you will never reach the deadline. Negativity comes also from the hand of toxic people. Negative thoughts can be dreaming of difficult projects at night while your brain is not resting, and this can manifest as a poor performance at work and unconsciously reflect on your private life without even realizing. But hold it: Who hasn’t had a “bad mood day” for no reason? Negative thinking is making a mountain out of a small sand grain. So, the next time this happens, ask yourself: Will this sand grain really matter in two months’ time?

Self-doubt is an invitation of negativity, too. Equal to self-destruction, unnecessary negative thoughts. Remember that little are the things in life that you cannot do. Everything is possible if the will is big enough.

You see: Negative thoughts can happen because of very different things in life – stress, overwork, too much social media, etc. The key point is to be able to spot it in time and find the pattern that is making you think that way. Only then, you will be able to prevent it.

So, whenever you feel like negativity is about to knock on your door, breathe. Those milliseconds you take for yourself are gold, pure gold. Step back, breathe and of course, never forget to treat yourself, since being harsh on yourself will not help either. Negative thoughts will eventually leave and everything will be back to normal. Good energy and positivity are both contagious, so why let negativity take over our daily thoughts?

My recommendation…think positive! Whatever it takes!
